A Matter of Time in Print!

This is my gorgeous cover for Vol.1 with Jory on the cover in all his glory. And this is my cover for Vol.2 with Sam all dark and broody on the cover.

I seriously cannot wait for August. I will post the release date the second I have a firm one.

So now we know what Jory looks like (in my head) we cannot forget Sam. In my head, just mine, Sam looks like the gorgeous man on the left. Not as pretty as Jory, but he's the guy Jory loves. Sam's more rumpled and stubbly and growly.

And this whole walk-down inspiration lane leads me finally to my
BIG NEWS that the wonderful Dreamspinner Press is going to publish in print format A Matter of Time. It will be in two volumes, Vol.1 will have Books 1&2 in it and Vol. 2 will have Books 3&4 in it. I'm so excited I cannot wait for August!

Kris at Kris N' Good Books had a contest not to long ago where she asked people to match the author's inspiration for their character to a picture. There were several great books and the men who the authors were inspired by were all gorgeous. So with that in mind, and having big news, I am going to share who I had in mind when I was writing A Matter of Time.

So first there was Jory who you see here on the right and when I saw that Gucci ad for the first time I just fell in love at first sight. But not in the girl-cooty way but in the isn't he pretty way. And that ad was frickin' everywhere a year ago, two years ago, ubiquitous as it were and so I saw it and was inspired to write. And yes, Jory has brown eyes and not blue but hello, nothing prettier in my opinion than this man. And then Leslie read A Matter of Time and of every picture in the world she could have sent me, she sent me the one on the left. And guess what, same model exactly. How Twilight Zone is that? But so you know. In my head, this is what Jory look's like.

Jazzing it up

My blue blog was boring so I tried to jazz it up. And the first picture I choose I loved but there was no way to make the links and everything readable. All those brown tones were gorgeous but not so much with the visible. So I have candles now which are not quite me but the background color is cool. One of these days I will have a cool beans website but for now, this will have to do. The important part is this way we can all talk. That's the best part for me.

What I was doing instead of writing

I was supposed to be writing. I came home from having my belated anniversary dinner with my husband last night, (couldn't go on the real night, last Friday, I had to work), and instead of writing I did everything but. I checked the review sites and the blogs of friends, answered email and looked for pictures of Gale Harold. Everyone has one, the star they love, whether it's the boys from Supernatural, (men, I meant men), or Viggo or Sean or Orlando. Mine, ever since I fell in love with QAF, has been Gale Harold. I LOVE Brian Kinney even though he's just evil. I own the series on DVD and have favorite episodes I watch over and over. I tried to watch him, Gale, on Desperate Housewives but couldn't wrap my brain around the new character. It's sad but true. But I now I have Gale Harold wallpaper on my laptop and not a flippin' word to show for last night. I wrote this morning before work, and will be nose-to-the-grindstone tonight but still, zip for last night.
Maybe one day of veg is okay though. Maybe.
I just had a new novella accepted my Dreamspinner and will post up cover art the minute I get it.
Now c'mon, look at the cute picture, who can resist Gale Harold and Randy Harrison together. Give me a break.
