Misprinted Copies of A Matter of Time Vol. 2

There was a printing error in a few, very few, of the Vol. 2 copies and they have the pages for Volume One in them. Dreamspinner will send correct copies to anyone that receives a misprinted copy through their site but for people who purchased on Amazon - Amazon wants to charge a 10% restocking fee even though the book is misprinted. Customers who contacted Dreamspinner directly were told that they will replace the book at no charge to them, so they don't have to deal with Amazon at all. So everyone, if you received a misprinted copy (Volume 1 in Volume 2, so basically the same book twice), send an email to contact@dreamspinnerpress.com and they will replace the book free even if you got it from Amazon.

Sorry everyone, hopefully all of you got the correct ones because it was only a few but if you got the misprinted one, Dreamspinner will take care of it ASAP so no worries. Thank you all for supporting me, it means the world.

  1. Hello! Unlucky of me I was one of the few who received the wrong one; I got so engrossed in the story of vol. 1 that I actually finished it in a day. With great anticipation I opened vol. 2 and SURPRISE! it was vol. 1. Thanks for the info., I already contacted Dreamspinner, so now it's just a matter of patience to wait for my copy. Great story btw!! :)

  3. Are you going to be releasing re-edited version of "A Matter of Time" ebooks?

So glad your new copy of Vol. 2 is on the way. My author copies are coming, it takes a while from Texas to Hawaii, and I might be swapping out mine too. Thank you for the kudos for Jory. He's my favorite of all my characters. Writing him is like riding in a car with no breaks. As I write the sequel, along with two other projects, it's like spending time with an old friend.

The print rights and electronic rights of A Matter of Time belong to two seperate publishers. Dreamspinner owns the print rights, Club Lighthouse the ebook rights. So the answer to your question is no.

Dreamspinner rocks for several reasons and their exceptional customer service is just one of many. And I agree, that was awesome especially the part about replacing books that were purchased at Amazon so people wouldn't have to pay the restocking fee. When you get yours you will have to report back on the re-edited version.

  8. Ordered my print copies of "A Matter of Time" Vols. 1 and 2 today. And even though I have an amazon.com card, I got them from Dreamspinner Press instead. Good customer service deserves rewarding! Can't wait until the sequel!

  9. Hey Mary!

I wanted to let you know that your books "Matter of Time" rock. I love both characters. I reread my e-books few times. I wanted to buy paperback books when they where not even printed. Was really disappointed then and now when I seen news about Dreamspinner Press releasing your books I thought "Thank God". I just have to have your books.

I love your writing stile and when ever a new book comes out I have to read it right a way. Thank for great work you are doing.
