The Servant, my fairy tale

My favorite Fairy Tale is Puss and Boots, so when the opportunity came up to write one...that being said, if you liked The Guardian, (third-person POV, fantasy), then this will be right up your alley. If The Guardian didn't float your boat. you might want to give it a pass. Or not. Maybe try it, see what you think. But if I had to say what it most resembles, The Guardian is what it would be. Here's the blurb:

After saving his younger brother’s child, Daemon Shar is cursed by a witch and runs far from home, a stray who will seemingly never be anything more. But destiny is hard to outrun, even for a man who is now more cat than man beneath his robes and cowl. A chance battlefield meeting between he and Ehron, a foreign lord, gives him purpose amidst the darkness of his accursed life. Soon Daemon finds that his true nature cannot be corrupted no matter the form he inhabits.

As Ehron’s consul, Daemon plots and plans to shape his new lord's future so that he may leave it blessed when he runs away yet again. But he never counted on his soul hungering for Ehron’s brother Gareth or for his past to catch him by the tail at last.

  3. What goldfinch3 said. =)

  4. You guys are the best!! I just know that a lot of people who read The Guardian were expecting it to be like Change of Heart, were expecting first-person POV and then were not digging it when they found out what it really was. So I wanted to be upfront and say. I am so interested to hear thoughts after you all read it. I can't say thank you enough for the support, it means more than you all know.

  5. I just wanted to say I loved The Guardian. I'm excited to see you have another book coming out. :)

  6. Two words:
