  2. Wow...really enjoyed the new book cause I always enjoy your writing. I just wish there was little more of Sam and Jory together. The story was really good, your stories always are...it just felt kind of like the Jory story for the most part, not the Sam and Jory story. Are we going to see more on them...really want to see the baby they end of adopting.

  3. Frech~
Thank you for the comment and I guess it is mostly Jory's story but mostly Jory's the one who needed to do some changing. Sam is the stable one, the grown-up. Jory has to do the soul-searching and find some faith. My sister said the same thing, but I suspect that's because she has an itty-bitty crush on Detective Kage. :)

  4. This was so good. I always set aside a good part of my day when you have a new book out, and this was worth waiting for. I loved the story from Jory's perspective and I love his snarkyness. I have to admit I would love more of Sam and Jory and their new family, but you showed us a side of Jory that you never had before when he was interacting with the children. That was fun and very insightful. You understand how good of a father he will be.

  5. LOVED IT!!! I had pre-ordered it so I was anxiously awaiting it in my cue (kept hitting the refresh button lol). I'm so glad Jory has finally grown up! And I'm really hoping to see all the aches and pains of Sam and Jory's family growing. I did miss seeing Jory and Aja together. But you can't have everything. lolol

  6. I loved how Jory life is like a roller coaster there are ups and downs. I like seeing him with the kids gives insight to how he will be as a Dad. I would love to see more of Jory and Sam growing family, I mean Aja is having a baby and Abe too. Just see how they all get along and have the ride continue. Plus more Sam as a cavemanfor his Jory is always good.

  7. Thank you all for stopping by and letting me know what you thought of Bulletproof. There is nothing better then getting feedback because you all care enough about Jory to worry and want more and miss Aja who is one of my favorite women in my books. To handle Dane, you know she's powerful. It's so nice that you all want to go from house to house and visit everyone. I'm so pleased, you have no idea. :)

  8. I had a thought. A Matter of Time 1 and 2 were Sam and Jory getting together. You could do a Bulltproof 1 and 2 with Sam and Jory settling down- Jory growing as a person and the two of them starting their family. We'd get to see more of all our favorite characters and of course, Jory getting into crazy situations only he would ever get into :)
I said in my previous comment that I loved this book and I really really do. I rereading it now! But it didnt seem like a conclusion. AMOT1 was the start of something great. AMOT2 was a great conclusion to that start. Bulletproof just seemed like a start to another something great. It just read like you have more to write about those two. If that makes sense.

  9. Just looking at the number of pages (253! THANK DA LAWD) got me giddy. I really enjoyed this sequel; hope to see more thank you. It wouldn't have bothered me to have a dab more smut though lol. But I guess growing up means less smut darn it :p

  16. Oh Mary! I'm about 64% into Bulketproof and I'm absolutely loving it. I know there have been some complaints that there isn't mush Sam and Jory but I feel too much of them together would have gotten old. They way this us playing out is fantastic, in my opinion!! So great. I just read where Jory got back to his cottage in Hawaii and the big cockroach is in his patio then all of the sudden it FLIES!! Hahahaha...so so so perfect and funny! I love it so far...thank you so much, Mary! I know you stated in the interview that you thought this would be it for Jory and Sam but like everyone I do hope there are more...Jory is my favorite character to read about...he just has "something..." lol

  17. I am dying to read a story of my favorite couples with kids: Jin and Logan; Rand and Stefan and of course Jory and Sam Kage.

I am a bit of a minority here. i hated Sam Kage in several books and felt jory deserved better. I loved Bulletproof beacuse Sam gets some comeuppance: He sees all the men that are just waiting for him to make a mistake so they could be with Jory, Sam gets injured and Jory saves the day.

  18. I loved this story as I've loved all of your books! I especially like how you added some pidgin in this book. I find it funny and totally in line with your characters. In this book especially I found myself laughing out loud a little bit more... maybe it was because of some of your really good one liners...
