I have to agree with ShellBell- I absolutely loved it. I loved the story- definitely a unique plot line. Plus you gave us a couple of uniquely fleshed out characters that were perfect for each other. I loved the vibe between Craig and Jake/Eli. And I loved the vibe between the brothers. The details- Conversion Disorder, panic attack, nightmares, the phone calls between Craig and Jake, all came together to, in my opinion, create and amazingly full and terrific Christmas story.
ShellBell~ Really? You're making my day here! Verra worried about that one. Don't want a Christmas downer yanno? Thank you-thank you-thank you! Squeeeee!:)
avatarminx~ Seriously, thank you. I wanted it to be good, real. Jake is messed up a little but not broken. Feedback, good or bad, my favorite. Of course when it's good, it's amazing. Your comments are soooooo appreciated. :)
I loved it. But them I love all your books. You write with such emotion. A reader can't help but get sucked in. And yes, I did cry at the end when J (Eli) told his story.
OMG! That was just perfect. Great story line. I loved how you showed how much they loved and missed Eli/Jake. For a few minutes there I thought he wasn't going to let Craig back into his life. I know it was a stupid fear but you did a great job with his fear of losing loved ones and being worthy. Loved how Chase, Lucas and his Dad had to keep touching him. It made me feel loved! Thanks for the great xmas present can't wait for the end of the month. ;)
Well, I've now read What Can Be three times and my original opinion hasn't changed one bit. Absolutely love What Can Be. I love Jake and Craig's relationship and the way Jake is reconnecting with his family.
Favourite lines are: “Your home is with me, and that’s where you’re supposed to be for Christmas and for always. With me.”
“Thank you for coming,” I told him. “How could I stay away?” he whispered.
“You look at me and I feel like I could do anything just because you love me. We fit so perfect. I mean, I just have to see you, and I know I’m home.”
ShellBell~ Thank you again, your favorites are mine. I love that Craig never gives up. I wanted him to be the guy that Jake could count on to never let him down. :)
Hi. Im a new fan of your books. I've only had a chance to read 4 so far. Finding Zach, Again, Timing, After The Sunset. I looooved them all!! I was wondering if there was/is going to be another in the lines of Rand and Stef? I really loved their story...i want to hear more lol
Thanks for the great reads so far and i hope to get to more of your books soon rather than later :-D Cheers Tanya xx
Tanya~ Finding Zach is actually authored by the amazing Rowan Speedwell but I will claim the other three. I do have plans to revisit Rand and Stef, the idea of Rand holding a baby has a lot of appeal, bu not sure if it will be their story or Glenn's with a look at them. Still deciding. Thank you so much for giving my guys a chance, hope you enjoy any others. :)
I love all your books. I laugh and cry in all of them. I always wait for any books coming out with your name. I even try to refrain from reading it as soon as I bought it and keep it as motivation to finish my house work! Can't wait to read on the sequels for After Sunset, Bulletproof and Honoured vows, read about their babies. Would love to read Glenn and his brother Zach's stories. BTW, will there be sequel to The Guardian? Virginia from Malaysia
Really loved this one. had me laughing, crying, and gasping throughout the entire book. I of course thoroughly appreciated Jake/Eli and Craig. I am a huge fan of Jory/Sam and Stefan/Rand so these characters were awesome. I wish there was an epilogue or a novella to follow up. That's how great this was.
Just finished What Can Be, I'm speechless, this story was so good I'm still choked up!I thought the emotions were strong in Timing and After the Sunset, but this was something else entirely. Thank you for this experience. Would love to see more from Jake(Eli), Craig and family.
I'll never buy your books on a weekday during working hours again. I couldn't put it down once I started, even though I was supposed to be working. Thanks. Damaria
I just read What Can Be and loved it , Story was great, Characters where great and loveable , I hope there is more to come of J (Eli ) and his families, Well done

ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked it, was worried that it was maybe too dark for a Christmas story. Thank you for putting those fears to rest. :)
