December releases

So this is the cover for Cherish Your Name (if you look close, it says Dylan on the small skinny stocking and Malic on the big burly one), and it will be out on the 28th of December. I have What Can Be out on the 1st (part of the DSP advent calendar), so I have one at the very beginning of the month and one at the almost end. Sort of bookending the month, I like it.

Here's the blurb:
Malic Sunden is in hell—only not literally... yet. As a warder, Malic is used to fighting demons and squaring off against all kinds of creatures from the pit, but this year he’s facing a new and terrifying prospect: Christmas holidays with his much-younger boyfriend and his family.

He loves Dylan, his hearth, but Dylan’s parents, the Shaws, are another story. They think Malic is a cradle-robber, among other things. At least their neighbor, Brad, seems to like him. Then again, maybe not. When Malic gets offered to a demon who wipes his memory of everything but Dylan’s name, it will take all Malic has to escape his new life in a hell dimension and return to the man he calls home

But it's just so cute, and the sword in the corner... I mean really, what's Christmas without a demon? I'm excited about this one, I hope revisiting the bright bubbly hearth and his grouchy ass warder will be something you all look forward to as well.

Update: The link is up and the novella is on the DSP website!

Thank You Sale at Dreamspinner Press

Okay so tomorrow, November 21st, Honored Vow is out (excited, terrified, like normal), and just in time for November sales at DSP.

There are three special events going on between now and the end of November that I need to let you guys know about:
First, there is a "We Are Thankful" Sale, 20% off everything on the DSP web site through Nov. 30.
Secondly, DSP reached 1500 fans again on the Facebook page after FB ate the old one. To say thank you, there's a code on the DSP page for 15% off one order of any size over the next year. So go to the Dreamspinner Press Facebook page, to get the code and use it.

Finally, every purchase between now and Nov. 30 enters you into a drawing for a Kindle Fire, to be drawn on Dec. 1.

So Honored Vow is on sale just in time for it's release and lots of appreciation for you from Dreamspinner. Don't miss out on the coupon code or the sale.

2011 Advent Calendar Daily Delivery - I'll Be Home for Christmas

So I just got the final version of my artwork for the
Advent Calendar from Dreamspinner and I just love it. This is the cover for my Christmas story ,
What Can Be
, that right now is part of a set but on December 1st, goes on sale individually. This my blurb:
Thirteen years ago, Eli went on a summer trip with his mother and never came back. Now, existing in a new life as Jacob Somerville, he’s again running from fear and memories, only to end up where he started. As Jacob struggles to reconnect with his father and brothers, he realizes that his lover, Craig Zhao, was the only thing filling his empty heart and standing between him and ghosts of the past. It will take the power of love—from his family, from Craig, and from himself—for Jacob to see that his life truly is filled with the promise of what can be.

Power Month

I have a friend Michael and he just loves May. It turns from April 30th to May 1st and he's all smiles. I loathe all those Spring/Summer months, they trudge on forever but he's thrilled. It's because May is his power month, nothing bad happens to him at all that month. That's how October is for me. I mean, I wouldn't want to push it, but I think if I somehow fell off a building, events would unfold and I'd be okay. I realize that sounds slightly psychotic but seriously, in October I could fly. I feel better, the stars align, just goodness and light all around. My husband, thinks it's because it's so close to Halloween. This was us in the car:
"I feel like I'm forgetting something," I said, sitting there, wondering what it could be.
"Hat?" He offered brightly. "Broomstick?"
Yeah. He's a frickin' riot.
So obviously he thinks it's my power month because his wife is a witch and not the cool Wiccan kind but replace the "w" with a "b" kind. Whatever. The point is, I love October and now, 4 days into the bleh of November, I already miss it. Of course November has Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday, but still, I miss the month where I just know in the depths of my soul that every little thing will be all right. Who else has got a power month?

Let's help out

Over at Goodreads, Hot Head by the wonderful Damon Suede has been selected in the Readers Choice awards as one of the fifteen candidates for Best Romance of 2011, the ONLY M/M title they included!

Vote

If you all have a moment, please consider giving Hot Head your vote. It made the Romance list with people like JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Nora Roberts. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see Gay Romance receive such wonderful and deserved recognition? It's a wonderful book, I know, I own it in paperback! :)
