Acrobat

My new novel Acrobat will be released on May 7th. I love the cover by Anne Cain, it shows the slow build of the romance. I hope you all enjoy it. And here's the blurb:
Forty-five-year-old English professor Nathan Qells is very good at making people feel important. What he’s not very good at is sticking around afterward. He’s a nice guy; he just doesn’t feel things the way other people do. So even after all the time he’s spent taking care of Michael, the kid across the hall, he doesn’t realize that Michael’s mob muscle uncle and guardian, Andreo Fiore, has slowly been falling in love with him.

Dreo has bigger problems than getting Nate to see him as a potential partner. He’s raising his nephew, trying to leave his unsavory job, and starting his own business, a process made infinitely more difficult when a series of hits takes out some key underworld players. Still, Dreo is determined to build a life he can be proud of—a life with Nate as a cornerstone. A life that is starting to look like exactly what Nate has been looking for. Unfortunately for Dreo—and for Nate—the last hits were just part of a major reorganization, and Dreo’s obvious love for Nate has made him a target too.

I will be so interested to hear what you all think.:)

    1. I hope you like it. Right now since Frog comes out on April 25th, I am more worried about that one.

  5. It'll be fine. I read something you and Amy Lane did once about each taking your turn up hiding in a tree house or out on a ledge or something. Seriously you both are amazing writers. Sometimes I can see how people wouldn't like certain things in both of your books but even if its a particular scene or behavior that doesn't appeal, the books are always well written, plotted , and characterized. I buy you both on release day and personally have yet to come across one I dislike. Ye, I have my favorites, but stop worrying so much!! Your guys make me smile and I always enjoy rereading. Definitely looking forward to Frog and Acrobat. On a mob kick are you? :) Fun!

Saw the Daily Dose mentioned above. What is it?? I'm always looking for more to read.

    Happy upcoming release days!!
    :)

    1. I do tend to write in cycles, the mate thing was CoH, The Guardian, Romanus and then Sariel, my angel story in the anthology at DSP. Funny. But I think with Mine Trevan had to stay in and so then Dreo had to get out. :) So you're right, I do go on little tangents. Frog is fun, Acrobat more serious. And yes, the Crazy Tree, Amy and I both sit there on release day. Can't help it, but the kind words of support are so very appreciated. The Time Travel Daily Dose at DSP is 31 stories all with that theme. I am looking forward to seeing the whole list of them up soon. :)

  7. I'm so excited for this!
I like that Nathan is older and not some twenty-something kid.

    1. Oh thank you. In Frog I have two older characters as well. I think everybody being between 18 and 35 isn't really realistic. And older men are hot. Period.

  11. I've just finished reading the excerpts for Frog and Acrobat. Thank goodness it's not a long wait for Frog but it is going to seem a long wait for Acrobat. Loved both excerpts and I'm looking forward to reading them both.

  14. I am SO looking forward to reading this. Apparently I actually have to be patient and wait for May? I tried to make time jump forward and it didn't work. So I shall wait...semi-patiently. LOL.
