The weekend looking to Monday...

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend, I am trying to get my boy to the Avengers and finding a show that is not in 3D is problematic. Trying to put the 3D glasses on over my own glasses is a pain and he's only 9 so his little nose won't support the weight of the glasses. He has had to hold them on his face for two hours when we went to see Thor. He was not a happy camper. I want to see the movie too because just Thor and Loki again would be worth it to me, the others are just gravy. I think we have to go at like 10:30pm tonight.
And May 7th is this Monday and that's when Acrobat will be out. I don't know why novels are more of a worry then novellas, they should all be the same probably. Maybe it's the time it took, not sure, but I always stress extra about them. So as always, if you pick it up, would you guys pop back over and tell me what you thought? I would love to hear from all of you. Happy Cinco de Mayo everybody. Remember, if you can't be good, be careful. ;)

  3. As always I like your characters. The individual characters you create and the personality you give them through your writing style is probably why I always end up re-reading your books. As for Acrobat, it made me laugh. From beginning to end, I was laughing or smiling. The line in the beginning; "Spoken like a man who's never been head over heels in love." "Thank God. Have you read Romeo and Juliet?" That one had me laughing and there were several more lines throughout that cracked me up. I thought the guy falling off the balcony was pure genius- and Nate's reaction to it, funny too. Cause he's right..the idea of a hit man falling off a balcony and landing in a dumpster- its terrifically hilarious. And then in the end with the soccer game and the total guy focus- I was laughing cause we all know certain somebodies like that. So thanks, I was having a terrible day and then I read your book. I would love to see just a bit more of them- maybe Christmas or his son getting married. Nothing more than a scene or two, just a little glimpse of Nate, Dreo, and family. Now I'm trying to debate whether I should reread Timing or Frog. Have a great release day up in your crazy tree.

    1. Oh you know me so well! You know I'm perched in the treehouse watching Supernatural on DVD and eating Oreos. Thank you for your wonderful comments, they help so much. I'm glad I made your day brighter, that's what my books are designed to do. :)

  5. Ok I got this as soon as I could last night. I was have way through it by 2am MDT. I LOVED it. I laughed everything, the timing of Sean and Nate and how it just wasn't suppose to be. How Dreo would get jealous and show it. I loved the relationship Nate had with Melissa and how they absolutely loved one another. Nate finding Michael and Dani on the couch. I have to tell you that brought back memories of a couple of years ago when I found my daughter in the front of her boyfriends truck with him on top. (I interrupted a heavy make out session)

My point is you did such a wonderful job (again). Thank you. Don't be stressed. You hit a the ball out of the park.

(And I agree the cover is beautiful. I loved the comments from both of you. It is always nice to see how a book was inspired.)

    1. Yeah! Oh, thank you so much! So glad to hear it, so relieved, so grateful that you popped over to tell me you enjoyed it. I kept pushing the story back but it just wouldn't let me go. Couldn't stop thinking about Nate. You make me glad I stuck with it. :)

  6. I took my daughter yesterday to see Avengers. I didn't realize there was both a 2D and 3D version until we got to the theater but they were showing both in different rooms. I went to the 2D as although I don't have glasses, like you I don't care for the 3D glasses and sometimes the movements make me feel seasick. It was an awesome movie though. Would definately go again. And haven't had a chance to read the new book yet but never fear, I will..muuahhhh....

    1. I can't do the 3D thing, I get seasick myself. I saw Thor in 3D and I got a little nauseous. And I love Thor and Loki, I wanted to see them and not be sick. Plus my short people hate 3D. But we saw it and even my daughter liked it which is amazing becasue she's 12 and hates everything I even remotely like. Thirteen is going to be a blast. :D
