Couple of Things

So in case anyone missed my whining, (and I have been), I'm in the process of moving. Today was the last of the donated stuff, the movers came last Friday, and three days of sleeping on the floor has made me cranky. The car goes on the boat tomorrow and we fly away from Hawaii forever on Wednesaday. I have not written a word in three days and that is enough to send me spiraling into some strange limbo at any second. I need this to be over, I need my routine back, I hate moving. Hate. It.

On a much better note, the lovely Chris at
Stumbling Over Chaos
is running a contest for the fate anthology that I have coming up with Andrew Grey and Amy Lane. If you get a minute, please pop on over and enter. And oh, I submitted my last Jory and Sam book, so cross your fingers for me that is accepted.

  1. I hope that the move is a good one despite the difficulties you've encountered (and continue to encounter) along the way. On a lighter note: YAY!!! Jory and Sam's book!!! Sad that it's the last one, but all good things must come to an end sooner or later. I'm sure that it'll be accepted and it'll make a wonderful conclusion to the series. *hugs*

  2. Good luck finalizing the move. I would imagine that while all moves are hell, moving such a distance and from an island state at that has got to be a special kind of hell. Sooooo excited about one more Jory and Sam book. Im sure it will be accepted. Is it really the last one? I absolutely adore them. But then I adore most of your books and I still really like the ones I don't go crazy over. Thanks for the info about the contest. I'm definitely looking forward to the anthology. Hope your week gets better!!

  3. Can't wait. Love Sam and Jory.

  4. Thanks for the mention!

    *fingers crossed*

And here's to having a good move and having it be over SOON.

  5. I just scared the crap out of my husband when I yelled happy cheers that you were finished writing Sam and Jory. I could give you encouraging comment about moving but all I can give is sympathy cause I agree it sucks! I wish you all the best and your books help me out when Im feeling grumpy, you are still my favorite.
There is no way that that book wont fly!
Wish you and your family a safe move and I hope an inspiring venture.

  6. Jory and Sam....*happysigh* it WILL be accepted *shepromises*...as for moving? You moved across the ocean, I moved 7/10 of a mile in January and I am STILL rocovering *grins*....bleh! moving bites for sure! and also, YAY FOR SAM AND JORY!!!!

  7. Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement on both fronts. I will let you know the second I hear about Jory and Sam. :)
