It's Out

Steamroller is out today so everyone pop back and let me know what you thought. I'm excited and nervous as always. Happy reading!

  1. Hey Mary!!
I thought it was terrific. I have a thing for jock/nerd stories so it totally hit the spot. I loved Vince's snark. I do kinda want to see a snippet or two of their future. I hoping you plan a little something more for them in the future. It was just so fast- steamroller was aptly picked as a title- and I'd love to see them settling in together. Maybe a short story..? Anyways, you always talk about how nervous you are about releases so just wanted to say no worries- personally, I very much enjoyed it. Looking forward to whatever you've got next..any hints?

    2. I absolutely loved it, Mary! :) I love how confident Carson is with his feelings for Vince despite being so young, but I'm wondering if there will be a book two (and three, and four...) that will document what happens in Maine. I have this feeling that Kurt might even pop back into the picture (or maybe that's just me being wishful for conflict -- hahaha!). All in all, another wonderful read. I can never seem to find any fault in your works, and I love it.

  4. I loved it! It was too short of course but I think all your books are to short I can’t get enough of your writing. Thanks of the great time I had reading. Keep them coming an I’ll keep on reading :)

  5. I am unsure as to my feelings to the book. I liked it but I felt there is more to their story (hopefully). I was not left hanging, but more of I was left wanting more. I guess I am being greedy in wanting more, but that is what I would love. It just feel like after everything and their move, I want to know more of their life, how they cope and adjust. Will Carson have issues we are not aware of because he cannot play football regardless of what he is saying now. How will Vince cope with no support system except for Vince and his family with the move. I guess you could say I 'loved' it but I just wanted more of their story so that is why I just 'liked' it. But hey you ARE Mary Calmes and you rock regardless. Looking forward to the last (sadly) Jory & Sam story.

  6. It was great!! I finished it in like an hour...I'm re-reading it again because I loved it so much! I like how it ended, sometimes authors can go on and on when it's not necessary. I choose to believe they lived, loved, fought, made up, struggled, coped, and lived happily ever after :)

I am curious if there is going to be a Kurt story or where you were going with his attraction to Vince. Seems like there is something more there...

You hit it out of the park, Mary!!! It was awesome.

    1. Thank you so much, and I thought that Kurt wanted Vince for the wrong reasons but I think that Kurt has his own story to tell. I'm thinking about it. :)

  11. This was a refreshing change, I have been trying to get through a couple of sean michael books and wow some are very drawn out. Like some of the other comments you always leave me wanting more. I always believe there is a connection when I'm reading a book and I get butterflies. Your boys had chemistry!I also loved Matt's moms character(the momma bear) October cant come fast enough for Sam and Jory :)

  14. Loved It! But as always with your books, at the end, I want to read more about the characters and their friends. I fall for the every time. I just re-read all of the Jory and Sam books, the Stef and Rand books and re-reading Jin and Logan's books. Please keep writing. Love them all.

  15. Mary,
Thoroughly enjoyed it! You are definitely one of my must read authors, and this book was no exception. It was entertaining and I had a great time learning about Carson and Vin. Like many others, I am hoping for more of their story when they get to Maine. Now I can't wait for Jory and Sam!
