Countdown to Friday!

So I'm getting excited! This Friday the 19th Parting Shot (Duncan and Aaron's book) is out and I am popping down to Atlanta to see the DSP gang at RWA. I will also be spending lots of quality time with Amy Lane in the car ride back. Its a looooong drive home to Lexington so it's lucky we always have lots to talk about.

And this week got interesting. Today I was at
The Purple Fantasy Den with Vicktor Alexander answering reader questions which was really fun. Tomorrow, Tuesday the 16th, Duncan and Aaron will be over at The Novel Approach answering Lisa Horan's questions and there is a contest underway over at Stumbling Over Chaos for Parting Shot so please hop over and throw your hat in the ring. I hope everyone else is having just as good a week!

  2. OMG...Soooo Good!! I love Duncan and Aaron!! I thought the scene with Sam and Duncan in the hospital was awesome. I loved how Aaron and Duncan finally figured out what had happened- and god when Aaron gets pissed he is steamy. Giving Conrad an appearance with a little background was the icing on the cake. I truly can not wait for Conrad's book. Interesting to find out that Terrence is his real name-if I'
m reading it correctly. I could go on longer, but instead I think I'll go read it again.

  3. Oooooo! I know I am not going to give justice to this book but I will try. I was more then I expected and then some. The interaction between Aaron and Duncan was so real. How they came to be was real and the merging of their lives, the give and take because they were the ONE (to each other). I also thought Aaron was a jerk and only in Bulletproof did he seem human. But you saw the man in this book. We also got to learn about Duncan as he is only truly mentioned in one book with Nate. It was nice seeing the other characters but this was all Duncan & Aaron.

Soooooo, I know this is suppose to be AMOT last book but how about a holiday special to catch us up on Duncan & Aaron? Now I cannot get enough on them, I know I wanted and waited on pins & needles for their books but now I am greedy and want more. Pretty, pretty please with cherries on top? :)

  6. Okay, just finished reading Parting Shot. I loved it, I am very surprised because I didn't really liked Aaron Sutter. I thought he was an ass. You really made me like him. I love how love makes you different and how it makes you reevaluate what is important. How Duncan just needed to find the right person to come out of the closet. I love your writing please don't ever stop!!!!

  7. AMOT is my all time favorite series so I don't know if got all emotional cause I'm tired from staying up so late reading, or just knowing its the last book! I have been jones'n for my Mary fix and all you did was make me want more. It was GREAT, it amazes me how you can keep writing such great books so quickly ( you make a deal at the crossroads lol) It to me is almost embarrassing how emotionally attached I can get to the characters in your books! Paul Morey reading this book would be hot, I'm just saying ;) Keep em coming and Ill keep on buying.
You're the best, thanks for all your wonderful books!

  8. I purchased this book yesterday and made myself wait until today to read it. It was one of the most satisfying reads I've had. I hoard all of the stories you write, and re-read them all over and over again. I'm so glad Aaron and Duncan found each other and were able to have the HEA I hoped they would find while I was reading AMOT and Acrobat.

Thank you and I can't wait for what ever your mind writes next.

  9. I thought nothing could surpass Crucible of Fate as my favorite...how wrong I was! Parting shot now occupies the top spot on my Mary Calmes list! So very, very good.

  10. I love everything that you write!! I have a question are Connie and Terrence the same person? They look alike act alike have the same job! The only difference is the name which wouldn't be surprising because of their/his line of work.

  11. I'm feeling a little slow. I had just re-read Mine and then started on Parting Shot again(I read all of your books hundreds of times). I just now realized why the name Terrance Moss seemed familiar when I read Parting Shot the first time. I really want to know Conrad/Terrance's story now. Does he work for the gov't or is it a regular hitman? So many questions.
And I love how your stories are weaving together.
