Audio Tuesday with Jessie Potts

Hello all, welcome to another Audio Tuesday, and Jessie Potts is here again from the HEA blog to talk about some of her most recent audio recommendations.

This was a great week for romance. For steam, for chemistry, for connection and everything that goes on behind closed doors! Sit back and treat your ears to the smooth drawls of a British doctor and American nurse, a post apocalyptic romance filled with combustion, and the intriguing romance of a man who may have a childhood love for the wrong brother. Enjoy!

Dear Bridget, I  Want You by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. Narrated by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt
The writers are such an amazing duo together, and I have loved everything from this team! Also? You can’t go wrong with Andi Arndt narrating so it’s a win win! Simon is just… Simon man! This is a doctor/nurse trope that is really well done. You’ll love Bridget with him because she is his perfect match in everyway. She calls him on his crap, she gives as good as she gets, and the chemistry and sparks that fly between them is to die for! I did think the ending was a bit rushed, I wanted more from them, so maybe a sequel? Mayyyybe? :D

Storm Gathering by Rebecca Zanetti. Narrated by Michael Pauley
I love the Scorpius Syndrome books and Michael has this gravely voice that fits perfectly with the characters and the apocalyptic setting. This was Greyson’s book and dannnnnng I loved listening to him! The steam is dynamic, the harsh lines of Greyson being softened by Maureen is just fantastic, and I have always been a sucker for end of the world romances. We also get more of the Mercs and the Vangauard. Please start this series with Mercury Striking… hot!

Return of the Chauffeur’s Son by Tara Lain. Narrated by Greg Tremblay
I didn’t know what to expect with this one and it’s so cute and perfect! Greg of course completely owns any role he steps into, and Tara is a gifted storyteller and connoisseur of romance. From the outside I wanted to shake Luca many times and point him in Dylan’s direction, but watching the romance unfold was so worth it. I do wish we could have seen/listened to how Dylan felt as a child and had more scenes were Dylan really noticed Luca, but that would have just been extra icing on the cake!

Hope you enjoy, see you in two weeks! :)
